The Wargrounds does not rest easy beneath the gelid veil of winter. Dead and deathless things are stirring as the Season of Frost smothers all.
The disturbances emanating out of the Wargrounds have increased, becoming more and more severe. Earthquakes have begun to split the land like the chapping of dried and desiccated lips, spilling forth from its’ borders. As the Season of Frost descends upon the land, the Wargrounds refuses to still beneath its freezing cloak as the source of last season’s upheaval continues to thrum beneath it. Huddled around fires and torches, the seers and augurs have divined the location of the source, amidst visions of lidless eyes and darkened wings.
One of the few points of stability in the Wargrounds, a fortified trading post known as Porifera-On-The-Peripheray, has begun to grow less stable. Porifera rises up in the center of an ancient tomb complex, surrounded by untended graves and shattered crypts. Among these ruins, an ancient sepulchre has been reinforced and fortified to stand as a strongpoint, and marks the only suitable place for the warbands to mount their expedition. Occupied by the scum of the Dreadhorde, the Free Peoples and Imperial Citizenry will need to scavenge supplies to construct implements of siege warfare, turning ancient headstones and coffins into artillery ammunition and barricades.
It is a desperate expedition that will drive the warbands into this growing maelstrom of instability and chaos, but whatever this growing threat is, it must be answered, even at the cost of looting ancient tombs and disturbing the denizens within.

Empire & Free Peoples
Construct Siege Camps
Three sites have been found to build Camps that we can use to craft the equipment we will need to lay siege to the Fort. We must scour the forests for the materials we will require to build the camps.
Players must build Siege Camps in order to be able to make Siege Equipment with which they can attack the Fort. Each Siege Camp Site will have a required amount of Stone and Lumber that is needed to build it, these materials can be found in the surrounding area. Players may carry One (1) Building Material at a time, players MUST WALK while carrying Building Materials and must use BOTH HANDS to carry them.
Each Siege Camp Site will also require LABOUR to build. LABOUR is measured in 5 MINUTE intervals per Player, and can only be completed once all the required BUILDING MATERIALS are at the Site. Players must put down their weapons and ROLE PLAY building to satisfy the LABOUR component. If a player picks up their weapons to defend themselves, their LABOUR is lost and must be started again.
Once a Siege Camp is completed, Players will then gain access to the Siege Weapon specific to that Camp. Some Siege Weapons will come with limited ammunition that must be replenished at the Siege Camp. Players can only replenish that ammunition while they control the Siege Camp.
Dreadhorde
Harass and Delay the Opposition as they build their Siege Camps
You have a Fort, you like your Fort, your Opposition wants your Fort, you should probably stop them.
Defend the Fort while sending out small groups to harass and delay the construction of Siege Camps. You CANNOT pick up BUILDING MATERIALS but you can attack those collecting them and using them to build the Siege Camps. Once a Siege Camp is built, you may try and capture it by stationing Players there to ensure no more ammunition can be made until the Opposing Factions have regained control of the Siege Camp.

Use Arcane means to discover the message the tablet holds
Your quest starts/continues to discover the meaning behind the strange tablet artifact emitting an aura of unease and foreboding.
You must use your acquired knowledge and arcane means (ritual/rite/spell or alchemy) to understand the tablet's message.
You will need to have documentation of your completed work to hand over to The Mystic or The Scholar to be reviewed.
Your work on this must be completed by the end of the phase, and needs to be observed by The Mystic or The Scholar.
Empire & Free Peoples
Breach the walls of the Fort and capture it.
The time has come to take the Fort, use the siege weapons you have built to lay siege and take the Fort. Each Siege Weapon will do a specific amount of damage to the Gate and Walls of the Fort.(Siege Master inside the Fort will track the HP of the sections) Once a section has been breached, your assault can begin, the more sections you breach, the harder it will be to defend the Fort from your assault. Walls are built sturdy and will not fall easily, but the Gate can be repaired if the defenders are given the chance. If you can successfully take the Inner Courtyard, the defenders will route and the Fort will be yours.
Dreadhorde
Defend the Fort, Don’t let them in.
They are coming for your Fort, hold them back as long as you can, defend the Walls and the Gate, if the Gate is damaged it can be repaired after 5 MINUTES of no Siege Activity, the Walls however cannot. Repairing the Gate requires 3 MINUTES of ROLE PLAY to restore 10 HP, only 1 Player at a time may Repair the Gate.
Once the Walls/Gate are breached, you must hold the Inner Courtyard (marked by yellow cones). If at any time the Inner Courtyard has at least ONE (1) Attacker and ZERO (0) Defenders in it, then it is captured, and the Defenders have lost the Siege and must flee to the woods to regroup.
